Ummon's Goose
A monk asked Master Ummon, "
What about when a wild goose is separated from the flock?" Ummon said,
"It goes into the ancient pond." The monk bowed.
Ummon then grabbed him and shouted,
"You dead ghost! It's gone in now what?" The monk was speechless.
Ummon pushed him away.
