Qinshan was practicing archery. An arrow stuck in the target, but another arrow hit and split it. A monk asked, " What about the first arrow?" Qinshan said, "It got through." The monk was puzzled. Qinshan then said, "Go ask the master of arrows." The monk went to Yantou and asked the same question. Yantou chewed on some rice cakes. The monk asked again. Yantou said, "This is a great commotion over a trifle," and drove him out with blows.
